Our Wedding

Saturday 10 September 2022
2:00pm start

523 Wivenhoe Somerset Road, Split Yard Creek Qld 4306

We are excited to share our special day with you.

The day will start with drinks and nibbles from 2:00pm, ceremony commencing at 2:30pm, followed by a relaxed and casual gathering of friends and family enjoying food, drinks and music.

There is plenty of space for setting up your tent, camper trailer or caravan if you wish to stay the night. We will organise a BBQ breakfast for anyone who is sleeping over. You can then head off and do your own thing or stay as long as you like. There is plenty to see in the area; take the long way home and enjoy a drive to Wivenhoe Dam, Somerset Dam or Mount Glorious. You can take a walk up the “hill” overlooking Wivenhoe Dam, behind our property (about an hour round trip).

Are you staying overnight?

To assist us in organising sufficient facilities, please let us know Click here if you are camping or bringing a caravan/camper. You are welcome to arrive earlier to set up before the celebrations commence.

Gifts

We have embarked on a journey with our new home that will no doubt test our budget, but gifts are not our salvation.

The greatest gift, as corny as it sounds, is having you join us in our celebration. Many of our family and friends in attending our wedding are traveling from far and wide and we prefer not to burden our guests in this uncertain and challenging period with additional cost.

If you so choose, you can donate to a worthy fund of your choosing such as these!

OK, so they may not be on the top of your donation list, but you get the idea.

If you do want to bring a gift then make it something from your heart, not your wallet. We have compiled a short list of wants, which you can view here. We will also accept red wine and diamonds.
